Getting Onto LSP Vendor Rosters

How vendor managers think, a CV that gets shortlisted, why people fail translation tests, onboarding rates that become your ceiling, and staying the first name they call.

Agencies remain the largest single source of translation work, and most applications fail for reasons that have nothing to do with translation ability. This course starts from the vendor manager's position: they are not looking for the best translator, they are filling a specific gap with someone reliable and compliant, and for ISO 17100 certified providers they need records to evidence it. You will build a CV structured for a six-second scan, apply through the routes that actually feed vendor databases, and understand how translation tests are graded, where instruction-following failures cause more rejections than skill gaps. It is direct about the onboarding rate becoming your ceiling for years, the agreement clauses worth negotiating, and the behaviours that keep you on the roster.
