AI Compliance Essentials: EU AI Act, DPDP & the Literacy Obligation

Enforcement began August 2026. Risk tiers, what Article 4 literacy actually requires, transparency duties, India's DPDP and deepfake framework, and a runnable programme.

AI compliance stopped being a future concern on a specific set of dates. The EU AI Act became broadly applicable on 2 August 2026, bringing transparency obligations, enforcement powers over general-purpose AI and the full penalty regime (up to €35 million or 7% of turnover for prohibited practices), while the Article 4 AI-literacy obligation has applied since February 2025 with supervision from August 2026. It reaches Indian companies too, because scope follows where output is used. This course teaches you to tier your own AI uses (most organisations find an unrecognised high-risk use in recruitment), satisfy the literacy duty with evidence rather than an email, implement disclosure, and navigate India's DPDP Act and February 2026 deepfake framework. It makes you an informed client for legal advice, not a substitute for it.
